A Silver Collared Cased Naturalist Fish Serving Set, Sheffield 1893 - A Victorian Silver Collared cased fish serving set comprising a serving knife and a matching four-tine fork. The Silver blade and tines are engraved with a naturalist scene depicting two swallows in flight amidst marshland reeds and foliage. Both pieces feature decorative embossed ferrules with floral and scroll motifs. The handles are constructed from ivory-coloured bone or celluloid with a rounded rectangular profile. The neck of the fork is stamped with Sheffield hallmarks for 1893 and the maker mark W & H, while the knife ferrule is stamped SILVER and RD 110798. The set is presented in its original fitted case, the interior lid printed with Walker & Hall Sheffield beneath a pennant logo.
