An Ironstone Mason's Mandalay Pattern Collection of Vases and Mantel Clock - An English Ironstone collection decorated in the Mandalay pattern comprising a large twin-handled vase, a mantel clock, and two cabinet vases. The large hexagonal-bodied vase features ornate, scrolling cobalt blue hydra handles with gilt highlights. The clock is designed with a stepped base and a gilt acorn finial, housing a white dial with Roman numerals. The two smaller cabinet vases include one hexagonal and one baluster form. The pattern consists of transfer-printed outlines with hand-painted polychrome infills of peony blossoms and scrolling foliage in shades of cobalt blue, rust-orange, pink, and yellow, heightened with extensive gilding. The white clock face is printed with a crown logo above the words MASONS and IRONSTONE, and the lot is accompanied by two original dark green presentation boxes bearing the same logo in gold.
