The figures are constructed from hand-painted plastic and are mounted onto painted die-cast zinc alloy bases. The assortment includes World War II British infantry units such as a mortar team and machine gunners, American Wild West figures comprising cowboys and Native Americans, medieval knights, and nineteenth-century military personnel including British Redcoats and French-style Zouaves. The lot contains both foot soldiers and mounted figures at a 54mm scale. The undersides of the metal bases bear several legible marks including B R I T A I N S L T D, E N G L A N D, and M A D E I N E N G L A N D, with some examples also featuring the copyright mark © 1 9 7 1.
