A Brass Nautical Sailing Ship Motif Three-Piece Belt Buckle by Martin - A vintage brass three-piece articulated belt buckle featuring an embossed central medallion depicting a three-masted sailing ship at sea. The central rectangular plate and the two flanking side components are decorated with ornate foliate scrollwork across the entire surface, incorporating volute and leaf motifs. The construction allows for articulation via two integrated vertical loops on the central plate that connect to hook-and-loop mechanisms on the side pieces. The reverse of the clasp component bears a raised maker's mark reading MARTIN, above PAT. No 25919 and MADE IN ENGLAND.
