A Silver Edward VII and Queen Alexandra Coronation Medal 1902 - A Silver commemorative coronation medal for King Edward VII and Queen Alexandra. The obverse features conjoined profile portraits of the King and Queen facing right, both wearing crowns. The rim is inscribed with the characters KING EDWARD VII QUEEN ALEXANDRA. Below the King's shoulder is the impressed signature E. FUCHS 1901 and the base bears the impressed mark ELKINGTON. The reverse depicts an allegorical female figure seated on a rocky outcrop, resting her hand on a shield bearing the Royal Arms inscribed with 26 JUNE 1902. The background shows a view of Westminster Abbey with a radiant crown within a wreath above. The reverse is further signed E. FUCHS 1901 to the left of the figure.
