Five Nickel Plated Brass Hudson and Acme Whistles - Five nickel plated brass whistles comprising three tubular models and two pea style whistles. The largest tubular whistle is stamped THE METROPOLITAN with the maker name J. HUDSON and CO. and the address 13 BARR ST. HOCKLEY BIRMINGHAM. Two smaller tubular whistles are stamped THE ACME CITY WHISTLE MADE IN ENGLAND and THE ACME CITY MADE IN ENGLAND. The group also features a pea whistle stamped THE ACME THUNDERER MADE IN ENGLAND with an attached steel chain and swivel clip, and a second rounded pea whistle stamped THE ACME REGD ROSE. Both pea whistles retain their internal cork peas. The whistles are constructed from nickel plated brass, featuring integrated suspension loops and traditional sound vents.
