A Collection of Ceramic and Composition Buddha and Hotei Figurines - A collection of figurines featuring a variety of iconographic styles and materials including cast bronze, glazed ceramic, and moulded composition. The group comprises a Thai-style seated Buddha in bronze colour with a dark patina, depicted in the bhumisparsha mudra with a flame-topped ushnisha. A Chinese Hotei is rendered in polychrome glazed ceramic, holding a longevity peach and an alms bowl while dressed in white robes. A second seated Hotei is cast in bronze with mala beads and a dark finish. The collection is completed by a reclining Parinirvana Buddha in a dark composition material, featuring an intricately carved floral robe and resting on a plinth with relief-carved characters in a Brahmic-derived script that are not legible.
