A Pair of Wood and Brass Joinery Plough Planes - A pair of beechwood and brass joinery plough planes, comprising a wedge-arm example and a screw-arm example. The wedge-arm plane features two transverse stems secured by wooden wedges, each stem finished with a brass tip and decorated with a diamond-shaped brass escutcheon. The screw-arm plane is constructed with threaded stems adjusted by two large brass-collared wooden nuts and features a substantial brass-faced fence for guidance. Both planes retain their respective steel irons. The toe of the wedge-arm plane bears an impressed stamp reading GABRIEL and the toe of the screw-arm plane is stamped R. HEALEY.
