A Wood and Glass Chess Set - A decorative Wood and Glass chess set comprising a stained wood presentation box with an integrated chessboard and thirty-two solid glass playing pieces. The square wood case features a hinged lid secured by a brass latch, housing a recessed etched glass board with alternating clear and frosted squares. The interior contains a black flocked vacuum-formed plastic tray with individual custom-fit compartments for the sixteen clear and sixteen frosted solid glass pieces. Each side contains a king, queen, two bishops, two knights, two rooks, and eight pawns. The box is finished in a mahogany-toned stain with brass hinges.
