A Silver Banded Rhodochrosite Filigree Bail Pendant - A Silver pendant featuring a large rectangular cushion-cut Rhodochrosite cabochon. The stone displays a complex natural pattern of undulating and concentric bands in varying tones of russet-red, salmon-pink, and cream. The cabochon is secured within a plain bezel setting, left open at the reverse to allow light through the semi-translucent material. The pendant is suspended from a substantial and decorative bail, featuring elaborate openwork filigree and scrollwork motifs. The reverse of the mounting is stamped with the characters 925 within a rectangular cartouche.
