A Silver and Baltic Amber Foliate Openwork Pendant - A Silver pendant featuring a central oval cabochon-cut Baltic amber stone of honey-orange body colour. The amber is held in a rub-over setting and displays prominent internal sun spangle inclusions. The gemstone is framed by an ornate openwork border comprising scrolling foliate motifs, and is suspended from a plain circular bail. The reverse of the bail is impressed with a small rectangular mark which is not legible. Length: 3.1 cm Width: 2.0 cm.
