LEON DANCHIN, ”FOAL HEAD” - ”Foal Head”, a signed print by listed artist, Leon Danchin. Signed in pencil lower right and professionally framed under glass. This signed print measures in the frame, 20'' H x 15'' W. Danchin was born on June 21, 1887 in Lille, France and studied sculpture at the École des Beaux Art in Paris before being accepted by the Salon des Artists at the young age of 16. Danchin began working in watercolor and printmaking, producing around 100 engravings and lithographs over the course of his life.
