MCCOY YELLOW TRIPLE CALLA LILY'S POTTERY VASE - This lot features a rare McCoy yellow triple Calla Lily's pottery vase or planter, circa 1950s. Stamped underneath with maker mark as shown in photos. This piece measures, 6.75'' H x 8'' W x 3'' D. McCoy Pottery, with roots in Zanesville, Ohio, traces its history back to the late 19th century, beginning with the J.W. McCoy Pottery Company in 1899. Initially focused on utilitarian pieces, the company later expanded into art pottery, such as the popular ”Mont Pelee” and ”Loy-Nel-Art” lines. The company saw numerous name changes and ownership transitions, including a period as Brush-McCoy Pottery, and ultimately ceased operations in 1990.
