PAUL KLEE, ”THE INWARD VISION” - ”The Inward Vision”, a first edition book on Paul Klee's works featuring 32 plates. Paintings, drawings and short quotations by the artist, and commentary by various critics. Includes original dust jacket and is in good overall condition. Printed in 1958. Paul Klee was born in 1879 in Munchenbuchsee near Bern, Switzerland, to a German father and Swiss mother, both of whom were musicians. As a young boy, Klee displayed unusual talent as a violinist and as a draftsman. While he briefly considered a career in music, in 1898 he chose to attend art school in Munich.
