AFTER HANS WEGNER, FOLDING MID-CENTURY CHAIRS - This lot features a pair of folding mid-century modern chairs in the style of Hans Wegner's original design. In excellent overall condition and marked, ”Made in Yugoslavia” underneath on the frame as shown in photos. Each chair measures, 28'' H x 23.25'' W x 28'' D. Hans Jørgensen Wegner was a Danish furniture designer. His work, along with a concerted effort from several of his manufacturers, contributed to the international popularity of mid-century Danish design. His style is often described as Organic Functionality, a modernist school with emphasis on functionality. One minor repair has been done on the lower backside of one chair that is not noticeable, but shown in photos.
