HAZEL ATLAS MOROCCAN AMETHYST GLASS DINNERWARE - This lot features a set of vintage Hazel Atlas Moroccan Amethyst glass dinnerware, including four glasses, four small bowls, four small plates, & four medium sized plates, circa 1960s. Hazel-Atlas Glass Company produced Moroccan Amethyst glass from the 1960s onwards, after the company was acquired by Continental Can. The color, a distinctive shade of purple, was produced as part of the Hazel Ware line. While Hazel-Atlas was known for its Depression glass patterns like Moderntone and Newport, Moroccan Amethyst was produced in the 1960s.
