NORMAN LALIBERTÉ, ”TRIPLEX” - ”Triplex”, an original mixed media work of art by listed artist, Norman Laliberté. This piece measures, 31'' H X 24'' W. Signed and titled on the verso with number, 764. Artist Norman Laliberte was born in 1925 of French-Canadian parents in Worcester, Massachusetts. He was trained in Canada at the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts and late studied at the Institute of Design at Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago where he earned a B.S. and M.S in Art Education. Following a Fellowship from Cranbrook Academy of Arts, he studied printmaking at the Guilde Graphique in Montreal and at the Atelier Mourlot in Paris. His academic appointments include the Kansas City Art Institute, Notre Dame, St. Mary's College, and the Rhode Island School of Design and numerous guest seminars and workshops.
