Professionally framed and measures in frame, 16.5'' H x 21'' W. Tsukioka Kōgyo was the adopted son and student of the ukiyo-e master Tsukioka Yoshitoshi. His prints are known for their detailed and elegant portrayal of Noh actors, costumes, and stages. His work is considered an important visual record of the traditional theater form during the Meiji era.
