MANNING-BOWMAN & CO., EDWARDIAN BUTLER'S SERVING TRAY - This lot features an early 20th century Edwardian butler's serving tray, manufactured by Manning-Bowman Company. This wood tray has an aged mahogany finish and an inlaid medallion. This tray measures, 14.5'' H x 25.75'' W. The company was founded in 1849, in Cromwell, Connecticut, as Thomas Manning and Son. Thomas's son Thaddeus, took on a partner, Robert Bowman in 1864, at which point, the company was renamed Manning Bowman.
