GORHAM, ”LA SCALA” STERLING SILVER FLATWARE - This lot features a luxurious set of sterling silver flatware from Gorham's ”La Scala” pattern which was introduced in 1964 by designer, Peter C. Gavette. Inspired by Italian opera, it features a heavy, three-dimensional design with a scalloped edge, pierced handle, and detailed rose motifs. The pattern was discontinued in 2019. This set has a total approx. weight of 1,742 grams. 478 grams of the total weight are the knives which only contain sterling silver handles.
