Walzenkrug mit alttestamentarischer Szene, Bayreuth, um 1730 - Walzenkrug mit alttestamentarischer Szene Bayreuth, um 1730 Dekor wohl Adam Clemens oder August Wanderer: in geschweifter und bekrönter Kartusche mit Schuppenmusterung Personen an einem Tisch, darüber Sinnspruch ”Trunck und iß / Gott nicht vergiß” (Exodus 16,11 - 13), seitlich je ein Vogel mit Zweig im Schnabel, oben und unten Ornamentband. Fayence mit rotem Scherben, braun glasiert und mit Silberdekor; Zinnmontierung, Deckel innen dreifach gepunzt Mstr. Johann Andreas Betke, Bayreuth (Hintze V, 422). H. 26,5 cm. - Restauriert. - Vgl. Cylindrical jug with Old Testament scene Bayreuth, circa 1730 Decoration probably by Adam Clemens or August Wanderer: in a scrolled and crowned cartouche with scale pattern, figures at a table, above the motto ''Drink and eat / Do not forget God'' (Exodus 16:11-13), a bird with a branch in its beak on each side, ornamental band above and below. Faience with red body, brown glaze and silver decoration; pewter mount, lid stamped three times inside: Master Johann Andreas Betke, Bayreuth (Hintze V, 422). Height 26.5 cm. - Restored. - Cf. Ill.
