Auf einem prachtvoll geschnitzten Thron sitzende Madonna mit dem auf einem Kissen sitzendem Jesuskind in ihrem Arm, den Kopf liegevoll zu ihm gewandt (Typ Eleusa), neben der Stuhlwange ein Strauß mit Narzissen, Nelken und Maiglöckchen in einer Vase, vor Maria ein mit einem Teppich geschmücktes Lesepult mit geöffnetem Buch. Öl/Lwd., Gewand- und Kissensaum in späterer Zeit durch Reliefgoldborte akzentuiert, ebenso später die Goldgloriole im Hintergrund; Holzrückwand, oben rundbogig abgeschlossen. 120 x 81 cm. - Restaurierungen, partielle Ergänzungen, Übermalungen. Christentum, Marienbildnis Enthroned Madonna with Child Italy, second half of the 17th century. Madonna seated on a magnificently carved throne with the infant Jesus sitting on a cushion in her arms, her head turned lovingly towards him (Eleusa type), next to the chair cheek a bouquet of daffodils, carnations and lilies of the valley in a vase, in front of Mary a lectern decorated with a carpet and an open book. Oil on canvas, the hem of the robe and cushion accentuated in later times with relief gold braid, as was the gold halo in the background; wooden back panel, rounded at the top. 120 x 81 cm. - Restorations, additions, overpainting.
