Prunkvase mit dem Portrait von Wilhelm I. von Preußen, KPM Berlin, um 1867 - Prunkvase mit dem Portrait von Wilhelm I. von Preußen KPM Berlin, um 1867 Auf quadratischer Plinthe der runde Fuß mit ovoider Kuppa, zylindrischer Hals mit ausbiegendem Rand, an der Schulter zwei Greifenbüsten als Handhaben; auf mattem, königsblauem Fond goldradierte, bekrönte Reserve, darin das Brustbild des preußischen Königes in durch zahlreiche Orden geschmückter Uniform, sonst Fond in Matt- und Glanzgold, auf dem Hals und Fuß je ein umlaufender radierter Blattkranz; zweiteilig mit quadratischem Postament; im Vasenboden altes Papieretikett mit Inschrift ”Donné par empereur d'Allemagne Guillaume I.er à la C(omte)sse Claire d'Yve à l'occasion du mariage du C(omte) et de la C(omte)sse de Flandre 1867”; Podest mit Monogramm. Porzellan. Vase unterseitig mit Pfennigmarke und roter Malereimarke, Podest mit blauer Pfennigmarke. H. 48 cm, mit Postament ges. 57 cm. - Somit ist die Vase ein Geschenk des späteren Kaisers Wilhelm I. von Preußen anlässlich der Hochzeit von Prinz Philipp von Belgien mit Maria Luise Alexandra Karoline von Hohenzollern-Sigmaringen, die 1867 in der St.-Hedwigs-Kathedrale in Berlin stattfand, übergeben an die Gräfin Claire d'Yve, der damaligen Hofdame von Marie Luise von Hohenzollern-Sigmaringen.
