Vor einem Wolkenhintergrund mit seitlicher, roter Draperie Maria mit dem auf ihrem Schoß sitzenden Jesuskind, der sich zur heiligen Katharina von Alexandrien neigt und ihr die Hand reicht (hier ohne einen Ring anzustecken), an der Seite der Johannesknabe mit geschultertem Kreuzstab und Schriftband ”(Ecce) Agn(us Dei)”. Set against a background of clouds with red drapery to the side, the Virgin Mary holds the Christ Child on her lap; he leans towards Saint Catherine of Alexandria and extends his hand to her (though not in the act of placing a ring on her finger). To the side stands the young Saint John the Baptist, bearing a cross-staff on his shoulder and a scroll inscribed ''(Ecce) Agn(us Dei)''. Oil on canvas, relined. 35.5 x 46 cm. - Signs of age.
