At the centre, a hunting dog barks at a peacock, while a boy holding musical instruments watches the scene from the left. Oil on canvas, relined. Inscribed at lower left in the music book: ''Ioannes. Fyt. F.'' 58.5 × 73.5 cm. - The large-format original is in the Kunsthistorisches Museum, Vienna; the figure of the boy is attributed to Thomas Willeboirts Bosschaert.
