Support relined, probably reduced in format, and edges partially detached from the relining. Support warped and vertical paint layer cracks. Partially showing early shrinkage cracks. Isolated spots and particles on the surface. Tiny paint loss in the middle. Partially color-deviating retouches at the image edge. Frame scuffed and partial loosening of the molding. Dimensions: 72.4 x 93 cm, Frame: 82 x 101 cm. Siegfried Berndt 1889 Görlitz – 1946 Dresden First craft and drawing teacher at the Dresden Waldorf School (1932–41). Studied from 1899–1906 at the Dresden Art Academy and was one of Eugen Bracht's master students. Received the Grand Prize of the Academy in 1906. Study trips 1907/08 to Paris, Scotland, and Belgium.
