Kurt Bunge 1911 Bitterfeld – 1998 Kassel From 1928–31, Bunge studied at the Kunstgewerbeschule Burg Giebichenstein in Halle/Saale under Charles Crodel and Gerhard Marcks. From 1931, he worked there as a restorer. From 1950–59 lecturer, from 1957 professor at the Institute for Artistic Design at the Hochschule für bildende und angewandte Kunst Burg Giebichenstein in Halle. From 1959, he worked as a freelance artist in Kassel.
