Hänel 30” lower right. Framed in a visible-wood Neo-Renaissance frame with surrounding leaf ornamentation. Provenance: Saxon private collection; formerly Arthur Pekrun collection, furnishing of Villa Grenzstraße 33 in Coswig, residential building of the gear factory Coswig-Kötitz. Nailing of the support partially supplemented at the upper corner. Frame with white paint streak lower right. Dimensions: 150 x 110 cm, frame 155.5 x 120.5 cm. Winner of the gold medal at the International Art Exhibition Munich 1913. Participation in the First World War. Study trips to Mecklenburg, Bavaria, Switzerland and Austria. Regular participation in art exhibitions in Dresden and Munich until 1944. Member of the Dresdner Kunstgenossenschaft and the Märzbund.
