Signed lower right ”Maximilian Keller” and inscribed with location ”München”. Titled and numbered ”111” on a paper label on the reverse. Framed in a silver-colored strip. The work has not been unframed. Small compressions in the impasto paint areas. Frame with small lesions. Dimensions: 25 x 32 cm, Frame 29 x 36.5 cm. Maximilian Keller 1880 Tübingen – 1959 Dresden 1907–09 first artistic training at Heinrich Knirr's private painting school. Afterwards, he transferred to the Munich Art Academy to Franz von Stuck. Several years' stay in Paris, trip to Brittany. Relocated to Dresden, where he was buried in the Weißer Hirsch forest cemetery after his death.
