Signed lower right ”Maximilian Keller”. Scratched title by mistake ”Village Street in Lusatia” on the reverse and with a label from Radelli's Art Gallery, Dresden. Framed in a black and silver-colored strip, again titled by another hand on the reverse of the strip. The work has not been unframed. Support minimally warped, with minor crease marks and material losses in the rebate area. Dimensions: 36.5 x 45 cm, Frame 41 x 49.5 cm. Maximilian Keller 1880 Tübingen – 1959 Dresden 1907–09 first artistic training at Heinrich Knirr's private painting school. Afterwards, he transferred to the Munich Art Academy to Franz von Stuck. Several years' stay in Paris, trip to Brittany. Relocated to Dresden, where he was buried in the Weißer Hirsch forest cemetery after his death.
