Freely mounted in a passepartout and framed behind glass in a black molding. The work has not been unframed. Slightly wavy and browned, with thumbtack holes in the corners. Visible bleed-through from mounting. Frame slightly bumped. Dimensions: 62.5 x 48.5 cm, frame 83 x 69 cm. Bernd Hahn 1954 Neustadt/Saxony – 2011 Burgstädtel (near Dresden) 1975–79 studied painting and graphic arts at the HfBK Dresden. From 1981, after being admitted to the Association of Fine Artists of the GDR, he worked as a freelance artist in Dresden. In 1982, together with Johannes Wenzel, Anton Paul Kammerer, and Andreas Küchler, he founded the print workshop ”B 53”, which was one of the defining artist communities in the Dresden graphics scene. Hahn primarily works in etching, lithography, and drawing. In 1994, he received a scholarship from Villa Massimo in Rome and became a member of the German Artists' Association. 2002–2003 visiting professorship at the HfBK Dresden. Numerous national and international exhibitions accompany his work.
