Framed in a bronze-colored, fluted strip. The work has not been unframed. Support with two small canvas patches, paint layer recto with a retouching in each of these areas. Frame very slightly worn. Dimensions: 60.5 x 90.5 cm, frame 77 x 107.5 cm. Patrick von Kalckreuth 1898 Kiel – 1970 Starnberg Initially Patrick von Dunbar. Changed his name after his adoption by the Royal Prussian government assessor Richard von Kalckreuth, whom the artist's mother married in 1931. The artist lived in Düsseldorf and Berlin, finding inspiration for his motifs mostly on the North Sea coast.
