Inscribed in pencil by another hand ”zur Promotion”. Framed in a light green and white painted moulding. Support slightly warped. Willy Müller-Lückendorf 1905 Olbersdorf near Zittau – 1969 Lückendorf 1919–22 training in the pattern design class of the Higher Weaving School in Zittau, subsequently worked as a weaver in the Mechanical Weaving Mill and studied at the Zittau Adult Education Center, particularly in the painting and drawing class, among others with Adolf Schorisch. Around 1923, Müller created his first landscape paintings with chalk and pastel, and around 1926/27, the first oil paintings were created. 1925–27 studies with Alexander Baranowsky in the Textile Art Department of the State Academy of Applied Arts in Dresden. From 1932 until his death, worked as a self-employed landscape painter in Lückendorf.
