Dieter Tucholke - Dieter Tucholke, The Kiss. Probably 1980s/1990s.. Dieter Tucholke 1934 Berlin – 2001 ebenda Oil and collage on hardboard. Signed and dated lower middle ”Tucholke 83”. Verso with a full-surface laminated panel, with a note regarding Galerie Mitte, Dresden. Framed in a narrow, nailed artist's molding. Provenance: Estate of Gabriele and Peter Muschter, Berlin. The work has not been unframed. Paint layer with studio traces and bumped, with minor material losses. Dimensions: 103.6 x 76 cm, frame 106 x 78.5 cm. Dieter Tucholke 1934 Berlin – 2001 ebenda 1952–57 studied at the Kunsthochschule in Berlin–Weißensee. Early 1960s acquaintance with I. Kirchner, R. Rehfeldt and H. Schulz. From 1957 he worked freelance in Berlin and exhibited in 1980 at the gallery ”Arkade”. In his works, he tried to merge influences of classical modernism and ”post-war isms”.
