Drobisch had a significant influence on contemporary music, as he published numerous works on the mathematical determination of pitch relationships. Among other things, the musician writes about an application for the position of Thomaskantor in Leipzig. Addressed on the reverse. Formerly folded. A tear in the edge (without loss of text) was caused by opening the letter without breaking the seal.
