Dated 'Warmbrunn, September 20, 1882'. 2 pages on 1 double sheet. 21.5 x 14 cm. Henselt attracted attention due to his virtuosity at the piano and received great praise for his performances and compositions. He became the imperial court pianist to the Tsarina and General Music Director of the imperial girls' boarding schools in Saint Petersburg. He spent his holidays in Germany. The musician longs for a reunion but postpones it until next year.
