Family registers - 2 albums + extras - Family registers. Two family registers from the first half of the 19th century. Oblong small octavo. Loose leaves in contemporary gilt-stamped cardboard or half-leather covers in a slipcase. 1. Album amicorum of the young Mr. Stieren from Henneckenrode near Hildesheim. With 13 leaves containing handwritten entries. Mostly Hildesheim, 1813-15. With 1 color watercolor. - With entries by his brother Ludwig Stieren and numerous friends, including C. and F. Wiefenhavern, HCA Winnecke, Georg Stolle, Friedrich Ferdinand Kather, and others. 2. Album amicorum of a young woman (Jette) from Hesse. With 34 leaves containing handwritten entries. Kassel, Hofgeismar, Korbach, Homburg, Wetter, Rauschenberg, and others, 1819-30. With 1 copper engraving and 3 hair appliqués. - With entries by his sister Pauline, his brother Philipp, his cousins Sartorius, numerous female friends, including Christiane Schulenburg, Eleonore Merkel, Caroline Hansen, Florentine, Karoline and Gaby Schirmer, Louise Röder, and others. - Also included: a collection of approximately 40 copper engravings (mostly by Ramberg). Format mostly 11 x 8 cm. Loose in a gilt-stamped leather slipcase with a mounted view of Regensburg on the front cover. - With some portraits, scenes from 'Der Freischütz', 'Die Zauberflöte', 'Der Vampyr', and others.
