Architecture - 100 photographs - Architecture.- Collection of approximately 100 original photographs showing views of various buildings in Hamburg, Schleswig-Holstein, and Lower Saxony. Circa 1925-40. Mostly stamped by the architect on the reverse. Sizes range from 5.5 x 8.5 cm to 17 x 23 cm. Included are buildings by the Hamburg architects Fritz Höger (Sprinkenhof, Hannoverscher Anzeiger high-rise, Rüstringen town hall, Wandsbek cigarette factory, etc.), Küntzel and Koebke (Raydt estate in Großensee/Stormarn), F. Steineke (house at Adolf-Hitler-Straße 8), Zauleck & Hormann (Schwartow manor), etc.; the Kiel architects Heinrich Stav (Bahrenhof manor, Westensee, Bossee and Stubbe estates, etc.), Ernst Prinz (Madsow estate near Wismar, Glasau and Pronstorf estates, Immrade, etc.), A. Witt (Krempdorf, Rantzau estate); the Bad Oldesloe architect Ernst Höppner (savings bank, cheese warehouse); the Siebrecht brothers from Hanover (Groß-Burgwedel estate), etc. The reverses are mostly handwritten and partly bear the stamps of the architect and photographer. Enclosed are several contemporary photographic postcards with architectural views.
