Contemporary gold and blind-tooled leather binding with 8 silver corner fittings, silver clasp (depicting a dove) with 2 decorative fittings showing Mary with the Christ Child and the Archangel Gabriel with the lily, both covers with large-format (pearl) embroidery on a lilac background (minor damage or missing pieces). The embroideries depict a chalice with a cross or roses with an anchor.
