Rosary with Stanhope lens + cross - Theology.- Rosary necklace with carved bone beads and a cross, containing a Stanhope lens depicting a church. Circa 1930. Necklace with cross 15 cm long. The small lens (approx. 2 mm in diameter) in the cross contains a microphotograph with two exterior views of a church and one interior view, with text in French below. Also included: a carved wooden cross with a Stanhope lens. Circa 1930. With a view of the building, below which is the title 'Miraculous Image from the Monastery on the Engelsberg... Lower Franconia'. Cross 4 x 3 cm.
