Large Pair of Legendary Chinese Qilin Statues
Large Chinese bronze qilin statues with elaborate details throughout. Each qilin has a smaller qilin riding on top of each other, with wonderfully detailed scales and heavily decorated designs throughout. Chinese qilin are known as a legendary hooved chimerical creature that appears in Chinese mythology, and is said to appear with the imminent arrival or passing of a sage or illustrious ruler. Size each 22" L x 20" H
Condition: Wonderful patina throughout.
