Early European Crossbow, 17th c.
Europe, probably Italy circa 1600's original hunting bow. Straight walnut wood construction with a notched opening to secure the loaded bolt. Iron cross bar, twisted iron elongated trigger lever. Boxwood bolt guide. Size 32" L x 15" W.

Condition: Very good with all original components. Light nicks and wear commensurate with age and use.
