US Civil War Model 1860 Light Cavalry Saber & Scabbard - U.S. Model 1860 Civil War light cavalry saber and scabbard. Scabbard in all steel with two belt loops. Blade curved single edge with a wide shallow fuller. Gilt brass three bar guard with a fitted pommel and tightly wrapped twisted wire over leather grip. Stamped to the guard (18), Size 43 1/2” L, blade 34” L Ex-Southern California Collection Condition: Good condition with some typical oxidization and wear commensurate with age and use.
