Lot of 2 Bayonets & Scabbard - Group lot of two fixed blade bayonets with scabbard. The first French with a brown wood and brass handle, stamped to the ricasso with circled (M) & diamond form (S). Blade engraved to the spine (Mre. D'Armes de St. Etienne Fair? 1879). Serial number to scabbard (S3158), to handle (P64917) with multiple proof marks. Second bayonet a larger fixed blade with single edge slightly recurved blade in nickel or chrome finish. Marked to the scabbard (K98341) possibly French Chassepot.
