Central plaque in gilt bronze reads ”The Citadel” & below two images each reading Latin inscriptions with the date 1842 below. Each button reading ”Animis opibusque parati” around the palm tree and letter (SC). Size 6 1/2” H x 8 1/2” L x 7” W Southern California Militaria Collection Condition: Intact with typical wear and use some loss to gilt surface and cracking to leather.
