French Naval Officers Sword w/ Scabbard - French naval officers sword with scabbard. Blade a slightly curved single edge with wide shallow fuller. Etched to fuller at either side with scrolling patterns in including the Napoleonic rooster and the words (Ordie Public) to one side and (Garde, Nat???). Probably for an important order. Based on model 1767 officers sword. Original leather scabbard with brass gilt furniture. Size 32” L, blade 26” L Ex-Southern California Estate
