Rare Silver Gilt T'Boli Sword & 9-Bell Scabbard - Philippines Archipelagos, Southern Philippines, Mindanao Province, first half of the 20th century. Cockatoo handle and pommel in silvered brass with intricate patterns of scrolling motifs and bands. Saber style blade with a gentil curve and single edge blade. Scabbard wrapped over an dark wood with nine hanging brass bells and finely stitched early textile wrapping.
