Philippines Katipunan / Revolution Period Sword, Late 1800's - Philippines Archipelago, Katipunan, Revolution Period. Traditional sword with a very thick single edge blade, late 19th century. Guard in thick brass with straight quillion that feature a short turn in opposing directions. Brass collar with a fitted and nicely carved carabao horn handle with turban shaped pommel. Size 22 1/4” L, blade 16 1/4” L Ex-California Collection Condition: Very good with a light split to the carabao horn handle. Light crack to brass. Commensurate with age and use
