Antique Omani Matchlock Rifle, 18th c. - Antique Omani or Indo - Arab & Yemeni silver mounted match lock long gun, 18th century. Used Throughout Arabia, Persia, Turkey, early 18th Century. Richly decorated with numerous engraved, stippled, and embossed panels of solid silver. Iron matchlock mechanism is chain link. Rear butt with an original padded leather cover to protect the user.
