Ottoman Silver Inlaid Flintlock Pistol - Large Ottoman or Turkish silver wire inlaid flintlock pistols with silvered mounts. Probably late 19th century. Produced for the trade with a flintlock firing mechanism. Octagonal silver inlaid barrel with smooth bore. Covered in silver wire to the stock with base mounts in silvered finish. Size 19”, barrel 12” L, weight 1212g Ex-Southern California Collection Condition: Some loss to silver inlay, some silver inlay coming loose from groove.
